S.M.A.R.T. stands for specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and trackable. What are some ways that “NEXT Women” can measure their goal-setting success?
Page’s advice is:
Setting “baby step goals” on your way to a “big picture goal” is the best way to measure your success as you go. For example, if your bpg is to get a job in finance some good bsg’s are researching 5 finance companies you’d like to work for, sending resumes to those 5 companies, setting up informational interviews with at least one person at each place, getting at least 2 job interviews etc. All things that are directly leading to that final goal of getting the job, but broken down into smaller goals so you feel like you’re accomplishing something on your way there. Which you are!
